PGE had to cut down two 100-year-old Norway maples by my house last week. The Northwest wood turners took truckloads on Saturday, to make into bowl blanks, etc., but there is still quite a bit left including some interesting crotch areas on the biggest piece, in the attached photo. Some of the wood is spalted, some is clear, but there is a lot, whether you want it for future woodworking or just fire wood.
In SE near Reed College.
