I'm in the planning phase of building a fleece tumbler for my sister's alpaca fleeces. I want to try and motorize it, and want to talk to someone thats familiar with gear/pulley ratios and such. I'm currently thinking in terms of a 6W AC motor I saw on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FQVCX4FW/?coliid=IU961KVBM6EU9&colid=1HYW1ZKJKNYMM&ref_=list_c_wl_gv_ov_lig_pi_dp&th=1)  but I have no idea if thats enough/too much/too little.

There are some online plans, but they feature cannibalizing a cement mixer which is way outside my comfort level/expertise.

Hi Mark, what do you need?

I agreed to a project for a family member before I thought it through, which will probably involve using an electric motor to rotate a drum shaped object.

If anyone has experience with this kind of task, ping me here or send me a text and I can describe what I need.

    Cheers!
