Welcome to a place where the hardwood you use can be grown locally.  I recently have been getting very good quality white oak from Milwaukie Hardwood which also does urban foresting of other local woods. They have many other species and reasonable prices.

Congratulations for your escape from Southern California!

NOTE - please respond directly to Seth at the email below.

I’m new to the area and am looking for lumberyard recommendations as a recent Tigard resident - we moved to be near my wife’s parents and don’t know the lay of the land yet. I do see that membership is paused but I’m hoping you could still at least recommend a place or two that your members frequent for hardwood and sheet goods.

I mostly do small one-off furniture pieces for family and friends and am looking for a place that I can get 4/4-6/4 ash, white oak, and furniture grade ply at decent rates.

I’m sure most rates will beat LA prices and the no-sales tax thing up here is huge, but so are trusted expert recommendations!

    Thanks for your time,
