Thanks. I've made progress since I've first posted. I think I was lifting my blade at times when using a stone and it would mess up the blade near the edge. I changed my technique and made more progress.

I discovered my error in Mike Chia's sharpening class.

I have a bunch of sharpening stone and dmt stones. However, I'm struggling with one plane iron. Is anyone interested in either visiting my humble and crowded shop or I can bring my sharpening stuff to your shop or the guild and help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

I'm sure I'm doing more than one thing wrong.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
