I purchased my Inca Joiner-Planer from the Swiss Cabinet Maker. I has been the best investment in a power tool  that I have ever made. It still runs very well after 30+ years.

The Guild is gathering its history from those that helped in the 1980s. Recently I was visiting the fourth Guild President and received many documents and newsletters from 1983-5. Sam Bush and Walter Huber worked together and taught woodworking. I've attached their brochure.

Liz, I've forwarded your question to Jeff Hilber, who was a (current &) very early member, and who at least knew Sam Bush.  Hopefully he can reply.

    Posting this per request

    Hello,

My grandfather, Walter Huber, recently passed away. I've heard that he was well respected in the woodworking community for his custom cabinetry, moldings, and use of hand tools. He was friends with Sam Bush and did several projects with him from what I understand.

I was wondering if your organization had an archive or records that had any mention of him. My family is trying to piece together more information on his projects and his contributions to the Portland woodworking community.

    Thank you,

    Liz Huber
