Instructor: Ken Hall

This class is an introductory class to the common hand tools of the basic bench tool kit.  Ken will cover hand planes, chisels, saws and measuring and layout tools.  Ken will show you how each is used and talk about their care and maintenance and sharpening. You will have an opportunity to test some basic hands-on techniques under his supervision.  Bring your questions and any hand tools that you'd like to talk about!

This class will introduce you to the common hand-powered tools of the basic woodworking tool kit. We will, also, discuss benches, hand planes, chisels, saws, and measuring and layout tools. You will learn about their use and care. The objective of this class is to see the range of hand tools used in woodworking so that you can become better shoppers for tools when that time comes.

Please register online and remit payment at once. Your registration is not complete without payment.
